Sgt. Dakota Meyer, a Medal of Honor recipient and guest of honor for the 9/11 Warrior Recognition Evening Colors Ceremony, hosted by the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing and Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., spoke to crowds of service members and guests, Sept. 11. Meyer earned the Medal of Honor during the Battle of Ganjgal, Sept. 8, 2009. He is the first living Marine in 38 years to have earned this medal.
