Marines, representing an international Marine task force of U.S., Dutch, Spanish and British service members, and Senegalese forces conduct an amphibious landing on a Senegalese naval base. The event coincides with the Royal Netherlands Navy's landing platform dock HNLMS Rotterdam (L800) Africa Winds deployment and its supporting efforts to Africa Partnership Station (APS). Now in its sixth year, APS is an international security cooperation initiative aimed at strengthening global maritime partnerships through training and collaborative activities in order to improve maritime safety and security in Africa.
