Drums of hydraulic fluid and other petroleum products are stacked neatly in the 589th Brigade Support Battalion's petroleum, oil and lubricants shed in their motor pool at Fort Hood, Texas, Sept. 16. The Fort Hood Environmental Quality Control Committee conducted a walk-through of the 589th BSB's motor pool to highlight best practices and good techniques for maintaining environmental safety in a unit motor pool. The EQCC is a group of commanders and functional experts from across Fort Hood who work as a collective proponent for environmental control on the base.
