    124th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment

    Georgia Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Brandon Hicks and Pfc. Chad Lahue, with 1-108th Cavalry, set a 120mm mortar system and conduct a pre-mount check as part of their training at the Georgia Garrison Training Center, Fort Stewart, Ga.
    The 120mm mortar system, designed to provide indirect mortar fire support for mounted reconnaissance elements, was one of the weapons used during a combined arms live fire exercise at the 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team's eXportable Combat Training Capabilities (XCTC) training at Fort Stewart.
