Commanding General for U.S. Army Forces Command Gen. Daniel Allyn talks with the 48h Infantry Brigade Combat Team commander Col. Randall V. Simmons Jr. during a platoon attack lane. Gen. Allyn toured the 48th IBCT's eXportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) exercise. Alpha Company commander Capt. Christopher Pulliam detailed events at range Red Cloud Zulu for Gen. Allyn as his company assaulted across a XCTC platoon attack live-fire drill. Georgia Army National Guard, Assistant Adjutant General, Georgia Department of Defense, Brig. Gen Joe Jarrard was also on site and toured with key leaders at XCTC. Gen Allyn met with 48th IBCT staff for a sand table brief and provided closing remarks on how important the guard is to the global fight.
