Craig Poole, general manager and owner of the Crowne Plaza hotel in Reading, Pa., accepts the Service Member Patriot Award presented by the husband-wife team, Aderemi Olodun the ESGR chair, East Central Region of Pennsylvania and Maj. Mary L. Olodun, commander of the 326th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense. The presentation of the award took place at the Crowne Plaza hotel Reading, Pa., Sept. 27. The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve is a Department of Defense national committee that works with employers, reserve service members and military leadership in order to assist in the resolutions of conflicts arising from an employee’s military commitment and is therefore in charge of awarding employers who support Army Reserve service members and their families via direct nomination from the service member and his or her family.
