Philippine and U.S. Marines conduct aircraft rescue and firefighting training at Clark Air Field, Pampanga, Republic of the Philippines, Sept. 26 during Amphibious Landing Exercise 2014. Bilateral training during PHIBLEX 14 ensures Philippine and U.S. forces are capable of integrating effectively to conduct humanitarian assistance and regional security missions. The day of training familiarized the Armed Forces of the Philippines members with U.S. egress procedures should an aircraft mishap incident occur. The U.S. Marines are with Marine Wing Support Squadron 172, Marine Wing Support Group 17, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
