Master Sgt. Jason Ventura greets members of the Philippine Air Force before showing them the air traffic navigation, integration and coordination system at Clark Air Field, Pampanga, Republic of the Philippines Oct. 4 during Amphibious Landing Exercise 2014. PHIBLEX 14 is a bilateral training exercise designed to improve Philippine-U.S. interoperability, increase readiness, and enhance the ability for a bilateral force to respond to natural disasters or other regional contingencies. The PAF service members are with the 600th Air Base Wing and Ventura is the maintenance chief with Marine Air Control Squadron 4, currently assigned to the aviation combat element, 3d Marine Expeditionary Brigade, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
