Freshman quarterback Nate Romine runs for a touchdown as Air Force meets Mountain West Conference rival San Diego State at the U.S. Air Force Academy's Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs, Colo., Oct. 10, 2013. Just 40 days ago, Romine was the fourth-string QB for the Falcons but filled in for injured starter Karson Roberts who came off the field in the first quarter with a concussion. Romine's rushing touchdown in the second quarter allowed Air Force to extend their rushing TD streak to 54-straight games, the longest active streak in the nation. The streak dates back to Navy, Oct. 3, 2009. The Aztecs scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to defeat Air Force 27-20. Air Force is off next weekend as they host Notre Dame on Oct. 26, 2013, at Falcon Stadium. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Mike Kaplan/Released)
