    ABOARD USS CHOSIN (CG 66), North Arabian Gulf --Aviation Warefare 3rd Class Esmelin Villar, from Bronx NY, secures a sonobouy before the flight of one of the two embarked SH-60 Seahawk helicopters aboard the Hawaii-based guided missile cruiser USS Chosin (CG 66). Chosin and HSL 37 are deployed to the region to conduct maritime security operations (MSO) in the North Arabian Gulf. MSO set the conditions for security and stability in the maritime environment as well as complement the counter-terrorism and security efforts of regional nations. MSO deny international terrorists use of the maritime environment as a venue for attack or to transport personnel, weapons, or other material.
