Second Lt. Ian Joyner was recognized by Maj. Gen. Max Haston, the adjutant general of Tennessee, as being the 1,000th Tennessee National Guard member to be hired through the Job Connection Education Program. The initiative places service and family members with employers across the state to enhance career opportunities for Guard families.
