Colonel Austin E. Renforth, the former commanding officer of 7th Marine Regiment, addresses the crowd during a change of command ceremony at the Lance Cpl. Torrey L. Gray Memorial Field here, Oct. 17, 2013. Renforth, a native of Wheeling, W. Va., deployed to Afghanistan during October 2012, as the commanding officer of Regimental Combat Team 7 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He is slated to transfer to Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., as the director of the Marine Corps Command and Staff College, Marine Corps University.
