Builder Constructionman Kodi Mahood and Utilitiesman 2nd Class Joshua Nikkel, both of Public Works Atsugi, discuss the pipe layout found by a ground-penetrating radar (GPR) at Alliance Park on Naval Air Facility Atsugi. The GPR uses radar pulses to image the subsurface allowing the Seabees to see pipes and other obstacles in the ground before digging at construction sites.
