Builder 3rd Class Casey M. Heinbaugh, from Centerville, Ohio, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 11, measures a section of wood for cutting. NMCB-11 is a Seabee battalion currently deployed to multiple locations in support of U.S. Africa Command, U.S. European Command, U.S. Central Command, and U.S. Pacific Command areas of responsibility. NMCB-11's Detachment Horn of Africa (HOA) is a Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa unit whose mission includes stabilizing and strengthening security in East Africa through military-to-military engagements with partner nations.
