Joe McMillan, civilian defense counsel for alleged al Qaida member Salim Hamdan, and Navy Lt. Cmdr. Hamdan, a Yemeni, is charged with conspiracy and providing material support for terrorism. Hamdan admits to driving for al Qaida leader Osama Bin Laden in the 1990s, but claims to not have been a member of al Qaeda. The JTF conducts interrogation operations to collect strategic intelligence in support of the Global War on Terror and supports law enforcement and war crimes investigations.
