Lance Cpl. Joe Wallace (left), team leader, and Pfc. Dakota Newcomer, rifleman, Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, provide security during a live-fire exercise on Range 400 here, Oct. 23, 2013. The Marines conducted a company attack on fortified positions to conclude their training evolution during Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course. Machine gunners and mortarmen provided suppressing fire while riflemen maneuvered through trenches to capture each position. After the company assault, the Marines hiked 11 miles with full combat loads to their command post.
