A team of technical experts with the 2-151st Aviation Regiment, South Carolina National Guard, visits the Colombian Army Aviation Maintenance Battalion at its maintenance and depot facility in Melgar, Colombia, Nov. 7, 2013. The purpose of this visit is to streamline the maintenance and quality control processes for both units by comparing procedures and different operational challenges. The 2-151st Aviation Regiment built its combat experience primarily in Iraq and Afghanistan, while the Colombians are engaged in supporting police operations within their own borders.
