Soldiers from the 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) and policemen from the Belton Police Department raise the national colors on an 80-foor flagpole during the Patriot Plaza rededication ceremony Nov. 8, in Belton, Texas. On Veterans Day, 2011, Brig. Gen. Terrence Hildner, the 13th SC(E) former commander spoke during the dedication ceremony weeks before deploying to Afghanistan with a selected group of his staff. Hildner passed away in Afghanistan unexpectedly in early 2012.
