Members of the 386th Expeditionary Wing render salutes during a Remembrance Day service, Nov. 11, 2013 at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Remembrance Day, also known as Armistice Day originated following the end of the first World War. The Armistice agreement was signed between Germany and the Allied Forces in Paris, Monday, Nov. 11, 1918, at 5 a.m. The cease fire went into effect at 11 a.m. the same morning.
