Corpsman load a stretcher with a simulated casualty into the back of a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter Nov. 7 at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma. The service members were learning how to properly load and offload a helicopter, as well as how to properly secure a stretcher with a casualty on it in a helicopter. The service members are with 3rd Medical Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force. The CH-53E is with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 772, currently assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III MEF, under the unit deployment program.
