Perry Elementary School perform the Mexican folk dance “El Jarabe Tapatio,” or better known as “The Mexican Hat Dance,” during the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration in the Club Iwakuni ballroom aboard Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Oct. 10, 2013. The Mexican Hat Dance was founded in 1910 as a way to inspire national unity.
