North Carolina Lt. Gov. Dan Forest thanks a North Carolina National Guard soldier of the NCNG’s 2-130th Airfield Operations Battalion, based at Simmons Army Airfield, Fort Bragg, N.C., at their welcome home ceremony held at the NCNG’s Joint Force Headquarters auditorium, in Raleigh, N.C., Nov. The soldiers recently returned from their deployment to Kuwait, Jordan and Afghanistan. “It is important for the community to know how our men and women serve,” said Forest.
