The cockpit of the Rockwell Collins' Transportable Black Hawk Operation Simulator is shown to Michigan Army National Guard Soldiers and local media at Camp Grayling Army Airfield, Mich., on Nov. 18, 2013. The T-BOS utilizes computer simulation screen graphics and an extensive digital terrain data base to give pilots realistic flying conditions when they train using the simulator. The T-BOS saves Army budget money because the pilots don't need to use expensive aviation fuel to maintain their flight skills when using the T-BOS .
