First Lt. Justin Collins holds his 3-month-old daughter, Isabella, for the first time after returning home to Fort Knox, Ky., from Afghanistan Nov. 20. Justin's wife, Brittany, gave birth to shortly after Justin deployed. According to the couple, the only interaction before this meeting was over Skype. Collins and more than 240 soldiers assigned to the 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, were reunited with their friends and families during a ceremony at Fort Knox's Natcher Physical Fitness Center.
