A sailor monitors flight deck operations while Marines and sailors refuel an MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft on the flight deck of the USS George Washington Nov. 20 during Operation Damayan. Along with other capabilities, the George Washington serves as a refueling point for Marine and naval aircraft supporting the operation. The Osprey is with the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade's aviation combat element in support of Joint Task Force 505, and the sailor is an aviation boatswain’s mate (fuel) with the USS George Washington, George Washington Carrier Strike Group.
