One of 2nd Recruit Training Battalion's barracks on Parris Island, S.C., is scheduled to be renovated soon due to deteriorating interior and outdated facilities. The building was first built in the late 1960s and currently houses Fox and Echo Companies of 2nd Recruit Training Battalion. The renovations are scheduled to be finished by September 2015.
