Lt. j.g. Alex Reardon leads a tour of the bridge aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Port Royal (CG 73) for officers and midshipman from the Republic of Korea destroyer ROK Dae Jo Yeong (DDH 997) and the fast combat support ship ROK Hwacheon (AOE 59) on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Korean sailors are slated to participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl) commemorating the 60th anniversary since the signing of the Korean War armistice agreement and lasting peace between the U.S. and South Korea.
