Staff Sgt. Duane C. Pineda explains the rules and regulations during the 3rd Medical Battalion grappling tournament Nov. 15 at Camp Foster. The participants began each bout in the kneeling position to conduct the competition with minimal long lasting injuries. Pineda is a martial arts instructor and water support technician with the battalion.
