An Army CH-47 helicopter attached to the 159th Aviation Regiment lifts a Naval Special Warfare 11-meter rigid-hull inflatable boat during a maritime external air transporation system training exercise. The special warfare combatant-craft crewmen aboard the 11-meter RHIB climb a ladder to the helicopter, which can transport the craft over land or water, further expanding the operational reach of the special boat operators.
