On Dec. 7, 2013, Sgt. Damon Cummings, 236th Engineer Company, 176th Engineer Brigade, Texas Army National Guard, hands food and water to truck drivers near Sanger, Texas after Winter Storm Cleon wreaked havoc on the North Texas roadways leaving many stranded. More than 50 Texas National Guard soldiers were mobilized to assist with search and rescue operations and aid stranded motorists.
