An F/18-A++ takes off from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam during Exercise Forager Fury II Dec. 9. FF II is an aviation training relocation event intended to meet U.S.-Japan bilateral goals such as reduced local impacts by dispersing the training to other areas and increased operational readiness. The F/18 is with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 112, “The Cowboys”, Marine Aircraft Group 41 currently assigned to MAG-12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force, under the unit deployment program. VMFA-112 is a reserve squadron from Fort Worth, Texas.
