3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command

The British funded new headquarters for the Department of Boarder Enforcement and was opened in Basra, Iraq on Monday, August, 4, 2008. All the departments of the boarder enforcement paraded and put on displays for VIPs and local officials attending the event. Major General Adel of the provicial department of police, Major General White-Spunner, the general officer commanding Multi-National Division (South East) and the Provincial Chairman Mr Ghali, were but a few to watch the parade followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of the headquarters.
