JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Mar. 11, 2005) Petty Officer 3rd Class John Coltrane, a crew member of Coast Guard Station Mayport, Fla., is being hit in the head by Petty Officer 2nd Class Darryl Harvey, an instructor for District Seven Tactical Law Enforcement Team (D7 TACLET), during training March 11, 2005. Harvey is role playing as an aggressive boater attaking the boarding team that just boarded his vessel. This type of training helps Coast Guard members maintain themselves in a hostile situation. D7 TACLET trains units all over the Seventh District on boat tactics, boarding techniques, self defense and proper handcuffing techniques. USCG photo by PA3 Bobby Nash.
