Instructors at the Jungle Warfare Training Center taught students how to construct and use primitive weapons to aid in self-defense from animals during the jungle survival course, July 28 - Aug. 1, 2008. These improvised weapons can be constructed by using available materials in the jungle such as bamboo shoots.
