An Iraqi police officer opens one of three taps for individual water distribution during the opening of a water distribution site at Joint Security Station Baghdad Al Jadida in eastern Baghdad, Aug. 9, 2008. Area residents can use the taps to fill containers with purified water. In addition, the site features a water distribution point for Baghdad water authority employees to fill trucks with purified water for delivery to area neighborhoods.
