Iraqi army soldiers, while awaiting their vehicles, conduct a simulated vehicle patrol that has just encountered a possible hazard in the road at Camp Mejid, Iraq, Aug. 5, 2008. Iraqi army Seventh Infantry Division Route Clearance Platoon has worked with Marines of Route Clearance Platoon, Company A, Third Combat Engineer Company and Marines with Iraqi army Seventh Infantry Division Military Transition Team. The Marines prepared the Iraqis to conduct their own independent route clearance missions.
