Spc. Rashon Ellington, a native of Mesa, Ariz., talks into his radio during a patrol in the northwestern Baghdad neighborhood of Shulla, Aug. 6, 2008. Just a few months ago, Shulla rattled with fighting between coalition forces and special group criminals. Now, the area is quiet and looking toward a future of continued peace and growth. Ellington serves with 3rd Platoon, Company B, 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).
