Staff Sgt. Matthew Nelson, A native of Lincoln, Neb., pulls security at the al-Faw intermediate school. The school is one of many renovation projects that are a major focus of the Sadr City leadership and coalition forces. Nelson is with the personal security detachment of Task Force 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division. Task Force 1-6 is based out of Baumholder, Germany and is currently attached to the 3rd BCT, 4th Inf. Div.
