ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Seaman Ernesto Mora, a crewmember onboard the Coast Guard Cutter Vise, a 75-foot inland construction tender homeported in St. Petersburg, handles a line to control the ship's hammer, which is used to drive piles for navigational markers.
The 15-member crew replaced a temporary buoy in Bayboro Harbor, in St. Petersburg, Aug. 13 with a permanent navigation marker.
