KEY WEST, Fla. - Petty Officer 2nd Class Brian Kirkendall prepares to run 100 miles the morning of May 15, 2010. Kirkendall, a rescue swimmer stationed at Air Station Savannah, completed the ultra marathon in 31 hours and 55 minutes, while at the same time raising nearly $2,000 for the Coast Guard Foundation Family Disaster Relief fund.
