Sailors render honors at a scattering of ashes ceremony for 89-year-old Pearl Harbor survivor Major Wheeler, who was aboard the minesweeper USS Widgeon during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Wheeler requested his ashes to be scattered at the memorial on Ford Island near his fallen shipmates. The ceremony included a religious service, a three-volley rifle salute and a bugler sounding Taps. Also in attendance was Wheeler's local church choir who sang the Navy hymn.
