Members of the Iraqi Wheelchair Fencing Federation, Rana Alawi scores a hit on Daha Sala during the first match of the Girl's Fencing Competition during the Rashid Special Olympics, Aug. 22, 2008, at the Al Thura Sports Handicapped Club located in the Rashid District of southern Baghdad. Daha defeated Rana in two sets; 10-7, 10-6, to take home the Gold Medal for the Fencing Event during the competition that celebrated the disabled athletes in the spirit of camaraderie and competition. Soldiers of the 1st Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, attended the event at the invitation of the Al Thura Youth Sports Director Ahmed Falyih Ajaj to show their support for the community event.
