In a continuing trend toward a return to normalcy, Karadah District council members reopened Jadriya Lake Park to a gathering of 2,250 citizens in coordination with "Karadah Day," in southeast Baghdad, Aug. 22, 2008. The Jadriya Lake project is a collaborative effort of Iraqi government officials, contractors and coalition forces and is in its second phase of reconstruction.
