Air Force Col. Daniel Dupont, a dentist embarked aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge, extracts a tooth from a local Nicaraguan man at the Juan Comenius High School medical clinic during the humanitarian assistance mission Continuing Promise 2008. Kearsarge is the primary platform for the Caribbean phase of CP, an equal-partnership mission involving the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Brazil, Nicaragua, Panama, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana.
