U.S. Army Golden Knight, Sgt. 1st Class Charles Cooley, from Cedanville, Ark., jumps the Army flag onto the North Avenue Beach for the 2008 Chicago Air & Water Show, while his battalion commander, Col. John Fenzel, Sleepy Hollow, Ill., and teammate Sgt. 1st Class Daniel Hendrix, Akron, Ohio, aim to catch the flag before it hits the ground. This year's lakeside extravaganza attracted 3.2 million spectators. Cooley, who makes an expert landing onto his target, deployed to Iraq days after the Chicago event.
