Staff Sgt. James Gasaway, 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, Fire Department, makes his initial entry report as he and Staff Sgt Benjamin King, and Airman Peter Beyer, 379 CES Fire Department, make their way into the smoke filled building, Aug. 29, 2008. The objective of the exercise is to rescue any survivors and eliminate the fire at this undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Sgt. Gasaway is deployed from Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash., Sgt King is deployed from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., and Airman Beyer is from Scott Air Force Base, Ill., all are here in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
