The submarine tender USS Emory S. Land (AS 39) arrives at its homeport at U.S. Navy Support Facility Diego Garcia. Emory S. Land left Diego Garcia in January 2011 and has been forward deployed conducting coordinated tended moorings and afloat maintenance in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
