Spc. Steven Northern, a robotic technician, from McAlister, Okla., works with a "Talon" explosive ordnance disposal robot at the Joint Robotic Repair Detachment on Camp Victory, Baghdad, Iraq. The Talon is the most widely used EOD robot currently in theater, and the JRRD is one of three facilities that keep them working. There are approximately 3,000 brave young robots currently serving in Iraq.
