ABOARD USS DEXTROUS, Arabian Gulf - The oldest Sailor on board USS Dextrous (MCM 13), Chief Engineman Terry DeBouse, from Augusta, Ga., and the youngest Sailor, Culinary Specialist Seaman Apprentice Demontray Braswell, from Macon, Ga., cut a cake to celebrate the U.S. Navy's 230th birthday Oct. 13. Dextrous is the Arabian Gulf conducting maritime security operations (MSO). MSO set the conditions for security and stability in the maritime environment as well as complement the counter-terrorism and security efforts of regional nations. MSO deny international terrorists use of the maritime environment as a venue for attack or to transport personnel, weapons, or other material.
