Rick Merritt, 10th Mountain Division command sergeant major, fastens the division marksmanship streamer to Charlie Troop, 1st Squadron, 71st Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team’s guidon during an awards ceremony at Fort Drum Dec. 13, 2013. Charlie Troop, 1-71st Cavalry joins Delta Company, 2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team as the first two units to receive this recognition in the division.
